Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak attended the Democracy Watch Event held in Erzurum city square as part of the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Commemoration Events.

Erzurum protocol and citizens participated in the event, initially the Governor of Erzurum Okay Memiş. Before the event, the Address of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the Nation was listened.

The event, which started after the moment of silence and the National Anthem, continued with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the performance of the military band. The banner brought by the national athletes who participated in the "July 15 Martyrs' Commemoration Starboard Run" organized to commemorate the day was given to Governor Memiş.
