High technology cooperation aiming at collaborations by combining a joint R & D portal with infrastructure systems in research centers and forming joint research groups targets to prepare a ground particularly for the defense industry in R & D and analysis-production-oriented projects. In this context, YÜTAM and DAYTAM decided to cooperate for producing such equipment as devices, prototype and consumption which reduce external dependence in line with the needs of our country in the defense industry.  In the following process it is planned that other Research Centers in our region will be included to our portal to save resources.

In the context of our R&D cooperation policy started by Erzurum Technical University and Ataturk University, our rector Prof. Dr. Bülent ÇAKMAK and Ataturk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer ÇOMAKLI came together with Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa VARANK and President of TUBITAK Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL in their Ankara visit and shared information about joint R&D portal (rs.erzurum.edu.t) which includes YÜTAM (ETU) and DAYTAM (Atatürk University) and project studies. In this context, opinions were expressed about possible future projects with high technology-based cooperation between the two universities located in our city.
