Our university, aiming to produce solutions to the problems faced by society with determination and courage, has added a new one to its achievements.
A project is to be carried out by one of the instructors at Erzurum Technical University, Research Assistant Mehmet Emirhan Kula as the principal investigator, along with Teaching Assistant Eren Özbek and Dr. Fatih Yıldırım. This project entitled "Development of a New Life Expectancy and Interest Inventory for Refugees: A Multi-Cultural And Multidimensional Perspective" deserved to be supported by 30 months duration and 240.049 euros budget as a result of the evaluation by European Commission and Turkish National Agency.
The project offers innovative solution suggestions to the problems faced by asylum seekers as intense today in Turkey and European countries, in particular. The aim of this project is to provide a more qualified and controlled integration into the society in the countries where the asylum seekers took refuge, who had to leave their countries for various reasons.
Erzurum Technical University is to fulfil a duty as the executive institution in this project. The University of Macedonia in Greece and Wyzsza Szkola Biznesui Nauk O Zdrowiu in Poland along with the institution of non-profit entitled Associazione Popoli Insieme in Italy and Fundacion Red İncola in Spain, Certification Surveillance Services Training Org. Ind. Trade. Co. Ltd. and Labor and Social Security Training and Research Center (ÇASGEM) are to carry out common activities.
