Our President Prof. Dr. Bülent ÇAKMAK hosted the President of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), 159th in the world university ranking and first in Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Datin PADURA and the administrative staff in his office.

After the intimate meetings held in the Office, a presentation introducing our university was carried out  by our President Prof. Dr. Bülent ÇAKMAK for the board of administrative staff in the senate office of the office of the President. After the presentation, an exchange of ideas between the two universities for scientific activities and other collaborations was discussed. The parties that signed the “MEVLANA EXCHANGE PROGRAM” protocol, which allowed the exchange of student-instructor between the two universities, visited the university's High Technology and Research Center (YÜTAM). The President of Universiti Putra Malaysia Prof. Dr. Datin PADURA thanked our President Prof. Dr. Bülent ÇAKMAK stating that they were impressed by YÜTAM, that they are open to cooperation with ETU and that they are very pleased with the interest during the visit.

Our President Prof. Dr. Bülent ÇAKMAK expressed his appreciation for the visit and stated that the common use of infrastructure and research centers by the cooperation protocols provided between the two technical universities so as to put the protocols signed into practice will contribute to scientific studies.
