To the meeting held at the University Life Center; Our Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent ÇAKMAK, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. İrfan KAYMAZ, Prof. Dr. Murat KÜÇÜKUĞURLU, Prof. Dr. Birol SOYSAL, Secretary General Assoc. Dr. Tuba YETİM, Career Planning Application and Research Center Manager Merve SAĞIROĞLU MAALİ, as well as a large number of academic staff and private sectors participated.Making the opening speech, our Rector. Dr. Bülent ÇAKMAK, by referring to the "Mentoring" system, which is the new application of the Career Planning Application and Research Center, said that "The" Mentoring "application is started in order to guide our students from the moment they step into our university.The concept of 'mentoring' is a management understanding that reveals the potential of individuals (mentee), enables them to discover their strengths and weaknesses, increases their motivation and performance, develops their leadership skills, accelerates the personal development process, teaches how to deal with difficulties, protects the individual from unnecessary risks.With this system; It is aimed to enable graduates with a certain career to share their knowledge, skills and experience gained in their career and business life with our university students. Our Rector  Prof. Dr. ÇAKMAK said that “It is aimed to provide the knowledge and experience transfer that they may need for their personal and professional development while preparing our students who are eager to get to know their business life".By saying that Individuals whocan direct themselves and can lead the people around them and reflect the culture of our university will be graduated, he emphasized the importance of the "Mentoring" system, which is the new application of the Career Planning Application and Research Center.

Merve SAĞIROĞLU MAALİ, Director of Career Planning Application and Research Center of our University said, “Today, mentoring system is applied in companies in all sectors, schools and various institutions.This program  has been implemented  in different ways in many leading universities in Turkey.She said that "This year, we aim to start this program as a pilot by matching 1 student from the first grade of each department with 1 academic and 1 sector mentor. ”
