Within genetically modified organisms and biosafety lesson in Molecular Biology and Genetics Department, Advantages and disadvatages of GMO was discussed in the GMO Debate held annualy.  The debate was held in the form of  question and answer and also the jury members and audience asked questions and gave comments. One group was defend that this technolgy is required for food quality,  vegetables and fruits with long shelf life, yield enhanced animal and plant products and can be a solution to scarcity. The other group was defend that genetically modified organisms can cause many allergy and toxic effects other living organisms, also GMOs can risk to human health.

The debate has terminated by giving a certificate  to each participant  by the jury members.
